Give a Summer. Grow for a Lifetime.

All Season Crew members serve alongside TBC staff throughout the summer, helping make camp ministry happen through programming, administration, hospitality, food service, facilities, and wherever else they are needed.

But All Season Crew is about more than getting the work done.

It is an opportunity to invest deeply in ministry, live and serve in Christian community, develop as a leader, and grow in your own walk with Christ.

Throughout the summer, you will have a primary area of responsibility while remaining flexible to serve in other areas as needs arise.

Serve. Grow. Lead.

  • Invest in campers and fellow staff

  • Serve wherever you're needed

  • Grow as a Christ-centered servant leader

  • Experience ministry and community in rural Alaska

A Summer at TBC

Tentative dates for All Season Crew are from mid-May through the end of July. Some positions may be able to begin sooner or continue later depending on availability and the needs of camp.

All Season Crew members are given a primary area of responsibility for the summer. At the same time, flexibility is an important part of serving at TBC.

Camp changes from week to week. You may occasionally be asked to step outside your primary role to counsel, serve with work crew, help in the kitchen, or meet another need.

A willingness to serve wherever needed is an important part of being on the team.

Come Ready to Serve

All Season Crew members should:

• Have an active and growing faith in Jesus Christ
• Sense a call from the Lord to Christian ministry at TBC
• Demonstrate a servant attitude, adaptability, and flexibility
• Agree with the TBC Statement of Faith and Core Values
• Be able to communicate Biblical truth
• Complete the Summer Volunteer Application and background screening
• Be at least 18 years old

Previous experience organizing and leading youth or children’s activities is helpful. Some positions may have additional requirements.

We Want to Invest in You

You aren’t coming just to give. We want to invest in you, too.

Every All Season Crew member will have a designated mentor while serving at TBC. Our desire is to help you foster personal growth, develop as a leader, and grow closer to the Lord throughout the summer.

Living, working, worshiping, and serving together provides opportunities to learn from others, build meaningful relationships, discover strengths, and grow through both the joys and challenges of ministry.

Bring a Team With You

Not necessarily a team that comes to Alaska — a team that prays.

We encourage every All Season Crew member to gather a group of prayer supporters before coming to TBC.

Ask family, friends, your church, and others who care about you to pray for your ministry, your relationships, your spiritual growth, and the campers and volunteers you’ll serve throughout the summer.

Planning for Your Summer

Getting to Alaska

Crew members traveling from the Lower 48 arrange and pay for their own travel to and from Anchorage.

Anchorage to Camp

TBC coordinates travel between Anchorage and Port Alsworth.

Estimated round-trip cost: $400

This amount is paid to TBC.

Food & Lodging

TBC provides food and lodging while you serve.

A suggested donation of up to $1,500 helps offset these costs for the summer.

Support Raising

We recommend that fundraising for All Season Crew positions take place through your home church or supporting organization. Contributions may come directly from the applicant or from the supporting organization.

If you are led to help offset the cost of your food and lodging, your contribution may be made to TBC’s General Fund.
