Position: Facilities Director

About us:

Tanalian Bible Camp is a Bible-based, charitable ministry bringing the hope of Jesus to Southwest Alaska. For almost 60 years, TBC has continued to provide opportunities for families, children, teens, and young adults to attend exciting, well-designed camps, retreats, and a life-on-life mentoring program. Supported by the generous giving of hundreds of individuals, organizations, and churches, TBC continues to make eternal impact in the lives of those it serves.

Who we are seeking:
Are you a follower of Jesus Christ who desires to use your gifts to love and care for others? Are you a dynamic, personable, and creative problem-solver with experience in facilities management, vehicle maintenance and repair, construction, or project management?

Do you enjoy collaborating with a wide variety of stakeholders and end-users to create spaces that draw people in, inspire, and foster connection? Does living and working in remote Alaska, enjoying the adventure, challenges and excitement that comes with Bush living sound inviting?

TBC is looking for our next Facilities Manager to steward the physical resources of the camp. You will aid in the development of a sustainable facilities management plan to provide for a robust and safe environment for our constituents and staff. Your days will be filled with a variety of opportunities to exercise your skills in maintenance and repair, managing volunteers, serving others, and planning for the future. You will be a critical partner to leadership as well as an important member of the team.
