Anna is an Idaho native who moved to Alaska in 2010. After graduating from Washington State University with a BA in Public Relations, she found a career in development at the Muscular Dystrophy Association in Washington’s Puget Sound.
After six years with MDA, she took a leap of faith and moved to Port Alsworth for a summer job with a local air taxi service. She decided to stay on for the winter then never returned to Washington.
Alaska had hooked her, and she grew to love the people in Southwest Alaska. Wanting to use her talents in development again, the Lord led her to the position at the Tanalian Bible Camp as the Development Director.
Anna also spends time mentoring the local youth of Port Alsworth. If she’s not with people, she’s off on a wilderness adventure.
